Surrounded by green fields our comfortable guesthouse is situated on the quiet, sunny southern side.

Our house is only 3 minutes away from the village centre, nevertheless one can enjoy a free sight.
our guests have the ability to relax in the heated swimmingpool, only 30m away, for free!
An extensive area with reclining seats is there for usage and enjoyment.
Our playground possesses a slide and a swing for your children's fun. To cool down there's also a little pool for the kids.
 
If you would like to go for an extensive walk, we would be happy to join you or to tell the best route to take.

We do believe that our guests do not want to miss out on any comfort in their holidays.

Equipment:
telefon, radio, satellite TV, safe,fully furnished kitchen, including dishwasher, cooking plates, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, eggboiler, mixer, bedspreats, towel and alike will be provided by us.

In the summer season Mariapfarr provides 15 wellnes-walking-paths without high gradient and many walking and promenade ways with a lot of resting areas. You can attend Nordic-walking-courses.

In autumn 2004 you can relax in our new spa- and wellnes center "SAMSUNN" with different saunas and a plenty of recereation and massage possiblities. There are also "sport-doctors" for your health. That all is only 2 walking minutes away as well as the outdoor pool (aprox. 26° C) – free for our guests. You can find an indoor pool in Tamsweg, 6 kilometers away from Mariapfarr.

We take action with our guets: funny hiking tours for everyone, we would be pleased to have you with us.

The Lungau hold out on a good network for biketours. If you want, you will get bikes from us - FOR FREE!

With the "Tälerbus" (shuttle bus) you can explore our country without your own car. It will bring you to your hiking-starting-point and back to Mariapfarr.

But you can also discover our region on a hourseback, for beginners and good riders.

The "Club 760" offers nostalgia-rides on a steamtrain from the year 1894 from Mauterndorf to St. Andrä.

Winter magic on over 200 kilometers slopes and over 50 ski-lifts!

Our ski-regions Fanningberg, Großeck-Speiereck, Aineck, Katschberg and Obertauern invites you!

A free shuttlebus (bus-stop is about 5 walking mintes away) brings you in your prefered region.

The Lungau provides a very good network for cross country skiers. One of the biggest in Austria. You can also discover our beautiful region with Nordic-Walking! Courses for beginners will be offered.

From Munich:
Cross the border to Salzburg and take the freeway A10 towards Villach. Exit the freeway at St. Michael (after about 105 km, € 4.50 fee for the tunnel and socalled "Vignette" required!).

Take the B 99 directing to St. Michael - Mauterndorf. Go on to Mariapfarr on the B95.

Take advantage of the "Lungau-Takt-Verkehr", which is a bus service through all the valleys in our region. During wintertime this service is for FREE.

Breakfast buffet bar and half board is available at the neighbouring hotel Thomalwirt for reduced prices. Free entry to our guests to the heated outdoor swimming pool right next door to our house. Our parking lots are roofed. A playground with children's slide and swing is also on offer.

Bicycles can be lent with us free of charge. We also arrange, with pleasure, walking tours and we would be very happy if you would join us!
