My Vacation in Göriach
Our summer cottage "Hubertus", embedded in miraculous surroundings, stands on a small hill in a side street in Göriach. The house stands alone; hence it is a completely quiet place. Affectionately renovated and furnished in rural style. In the house we have 3 nice holiday apartments in different dimensions. These are completely furnished for your comfort. Bedclothes, towels and bath towels, cooking dishes and dinner set and kitchen appliances. A sauna, use of washing machine for a low fee. We offer you if requested fresh breakfast daily, pastry-service.
In the closer surroundings alpine skiers find runways of all degrees of difficulty: The ski areas Fanningberg and Großeck-Speiereck are by sheltered from the wind, sun guaranteed, also a ski arena for youth and Eventfreaks. In an altitude of 1,100 to 2,400 m you can enjoy skiing, Carving, snowboarding or simply sunbathing be spoiled by culinary delicacies in ski huts or also with the Apres ski. The 6th Samsonjet, the longest chair lift of the world, a Boardercrosss tracks, Aprés ski in one of the huts, as well as 30 kilometres of very well preserved runway and 5 elevator arrangements, purely in Fanningberg. The great Großeck-Speireck skiing area is the regions friendliest to families in the Salzburg land! To the skiers; snowboard fans a wonderful ski circus presents itself with 11 ski lifts and 46 km of departures the FREE SKI BUS is only 100 m from the house Hubertus!
Cross-country trails (entrance directly before the house), wanderings in marvellous winter scenery. Horse sledge journeys, skating and curling complement the sporty program of the surroundings. Or come to the Hot Air Balloon week in the Lungau: From the 14th to the 21.01.2006. Here with us in Göriach, your vacation will be a quite special experience. In summer as well as in winter you find untouched, intact scenery in which the air is clean and the water pure. A paradise for nature lovers.
The next inn is in Lacknerhof 700 m distance. It offers regional and international food. The bus stop is 100 m away from the house. Come and spend a few days with us in the Lungau, the most southern part of the Salzburg Land. Your family Holzer.
