Fun and ski:
The ski offer of the Grossarltal is: Access to the ski slopes whether by walking, taking the free ski bus or by car where there is a large parking area. You can expect 80 km of great ski slopes, 24 skilifts. Your ski pass gives you access to the pleasures of the whole area “Ski Group Amadé” where there are more than of 800 km of ski slopes, 270 modern lifts: from Schladming- Dachstein/Tauern, Grossarltal and Gasteinertal up to the Hochkönig with Dienten, Mühlbach and Maria Alm. For snowboarders there is a half pipe and a fun park with pumped up music to get you in the mood.
Ski school:In the ski kindergarten with midday care, kids starting at the age of 3 ½ years old can learn to ski with the latest and newest Austrian ski apprenticeship technologies.
Toddlers from 6 month will be looked after if requested, and from 2 years old they are welcome in the child club Grossarltal. There are ski courses for beginners up to the ski acrobats: deep snow courses, snowboard and cross- country courses are also on offer, weekly ski races with ceremony awards.
Winter Charm and magic: Experience winter in the Grossarltal.When the first flakes of snow fall in autumn, everyone is happy about the oncoming winter.
Like a soft carpet, the white splendour covers the scenery and prepares it for the long winter. The outlook on sun, fun and ski, Xmas celebrations with all the different customs and ceremonies start to shine. The list of sporting activities seems almost endless: cross-country skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, ice-skating on the numerous cleared ways, a cosy and comfortable horse led ride through the landscapes.
The Grossarltal- Dorfgastein ski area is part of the Amadé Ski Alliance, the largest of its kind in all Austria with over 860 kms of slopes, 270 modern lifts.
