Situated on a high plateau the health resort Bad Dürrnberg offers a breathtaking panoramic view on the Salt mining town Hallein, the Salzachtal and Salzburg.

In wintertime, mainly families enjoy the beautiful skiing area on an altitude of 1330 ms. 
Spend a couple hours snowboarding in the Snowboardpark and afterwards grab a bite to eat in the Zinkenstüberl.

Cross country trails and many areas to enjoy the toboggan, romantic winter paths, an ice skating ring and Solehallenbad (salty spring waters indoor pool) with sauna and solarium are on offer.
